Ms. Selenia W. Hughes joins the Bridging For Change Foundation, Inc. team as a Co-Director/Co-Founder and Apprentince. With a unique combination of community services experience from various nonprofit organizations such as Chairman for March of Dimes, Top Teens of America, Girl Scouts , Junior NAACP, Junior NCNW- (Barbara Jordan) Youth Section and the Kingwood Park Cheerleading Team-Humble ISD and student athlete awareness, Ms. Hughes brings a depth of knowledge and expertise to our team. Mrs. Marilyn Mann, 20 year-Humble ISD Community Engagement Specialsit: Mrs. Mann serves as Sponsorship Chairman, bringing her experience in community development, program management, volunteer training and management and fundraising to our team. Ms. Micalyn Flagg: Serves as Director of Community Resources:"My name is Micalyn Flagg, whereas I proclaim myself to be aStudent Success Architect. whereas I build student leaderswho venture out into the world and become successful in theirlives!!! " With over 20 years of experience in Program Coordination, Resource Allocationand Asset Building in the youth development sector I bring a wealth of knowledge andpassion to this position. I have an established history of successfully designing andimplementing innovative strategies tailored to meet the community needs. Being thispassionate advocate for positive change, I have consistently demonstrated a strongcommitment to empowering individuals and fostering meaningful collaboration acrossdiverse groups. Dr. Kimberly Monette: Serves as, Spiritual Growth & Leadership Development Chairman. Dr. Kimberly (DrKimm) Monette is a visionary leader, process strategist, and faith-based leadership coach with nearly three decades of experience in public education and organizational development. As a dedicated advocate for spiritual growth and leadership, DrKimm empowers leaders to implement transformative strategies rooted in faith, purpose, and intentionality. She is the founder and CEO of DrKimm Consulting, where she specializes in guiding faith-based and educational leaders through her innovative 6M Transformation Framework, fostering impactful and sustainable growth. Mrs. Melissa Iwunze, MHA, MBA serves as-Treasurer on our Board of Directors contributing her extensive expertise in financial management, project management, and strategic planning. With 25 years of experience in clinical research, Melissa has a proven track record of managing complex budgets, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support key decision-making. She actively chairs the Finance Committee and is dedicated to maintaining the organization’s financial stability and long-term sustainability. Ms. Natosha Dawson serves on our Board of Directors as- Secretary. "Born and raised in the inner city of Chicago, I am a proud product of a single mother. Life's circumstances instilled in me the resilience to overcome adversity. Despite becoming a mother at 17, I graduated at the top of my class and pursued higher education, becoming the first in my family to earn a graduate degree. Now in my 17th year as an educator, I serve as an Assistant Principal at a middle school, dedicated to shaping young minds.As a single mother of two amazing sons, I am passionate about empowering and uplifting other mothers, helping them navigate their journeys with strength and confidence. Above all, I love God and live by faith, believing in the power of perseverance and purpose. I am committed to giving back to my community, using my experiences to inspire and support others. I am a living witness that with God and the right support, anything is possible."
